Mobile Edge MEEN01 Express Tote

I give this model 3 stars because the built-in web server is great just like their stationary (non-rotating) model. Apart from that, I was not as pleased as I was with the stationary model. The addition of Java to the web interface was a nice touch (the ActiveX controller port is often blocked by company IT policies, so you couldn't view from work), but the prime feature of this model, the moving camera, was WAY too sluggish to be useful. I expected it to be smooth panning, at least over a good connection, but even on my LAN it was sluggish to reposition the frame. The fact that the frame can be moved caused them to eliminate a neat feature they have in their stationary model - motion-activated recording. In the stationary model you could specify where in the frame it should look for motion, and have it record video or email you images when this happens. Not so with this model. This camera is worth every cent I spent. I had some trouble doing Port forwarding and TRENDNET helped me through the steps. Before I knew I had my handy little camera online ready for action. I've had it got over 3 months now and seems to be pretty reliable. I would recommend this camera for any home or entry business customer. trendNET rocks and I will continue buying from them. THIS IS A GOOD BUY.

If I wanted another TV-IP410, I would have paid less and gotten one. Actually, the TV-IP410 has more features, but the TV-IP600 has much better pan and tilt. Digital zoom is a joke.

I bought this one specifically for the 2-way audio. It simply is not there. It's not in the interface, it's not in the settings, there is no microphone nor speaker port. Not happy. I should have gone to Trendnet's site and looked at the features. Maybe only the wireless has 2-way audio, or audio at all. This has neither.

Furthermore, I don't know whose fault it was, but I wanted this quicker so I paid for shipping instead of the free shipping... it took longer and cost more! If there's an option for free shipping, take it!
